Moving from Action to Attraction

Woman_talking What's this attraction process all about? Is it magical? Is it supernatural? Well, there may be some of that. But, there's also a very practical element to the attraction process and it starts with taking action.

Most people take far too little action. They stumble and bumble, don't really do much to move them forward. If you want to be successful, then you need to take action.

What kind of action are we talking about? You need to go out and meet people, you need to network, you need to pick up the phone and call people, you need to send cards and letters, you need to send email, you need to join social networking sites and connect with people, and you need to communicate a clear and consistent message that attracts people to you.

What are you doing to attract clients?

Traffic Is it just my imagination or have people slowed down their efforts to attract clients? I think the whole world just slowed down over the last few weeks to watch the financial crisis in the same way as traffic slows down to gaze at a car accident on the side of the road!

Get over it! If you want something to happen, you're going to have to do it yourself! Life goes on.

So, by all means, keep taking action. Keep looking for opportunities to grow your business. The interesting thing is that people will keep doing business. Sure, people have tightened their purse strings for the moment, but things will ramp up again.

Use the pause to reflect and to think about your strategy. This is a good time to look back at what's working and what's not. Make some changes and get going again.
